Dace Sūna is a Latvian designer and artist working across collectible design, sculptural lighting, glass, mirrors and spatial installations. Her practice explores the relationship between light, space, nature and science, creating functional objects and sculptural works that sit at the intersection of contemporary design and art.

Working with materials including recycled glass, neon, stainless steel and wood, Sūna transforms natural phenomena into atmospheric design objects. Her work often draws from elemental forces and optical effects, from the changing colors of the sky to water, reflection and organic forms. Pieces such as the Sky-Set sculptural glass floor lamp and Ondara recycled glass mirrors combine experimental material processes with functional lighting and furniture, resulting in collectible objects that shift with light, perspective and their surrounding environment.

Sūna holds a master’s degree in Contextual Design from Design Academy Eindhoven and a degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Her graduation project, Cosmic Dancer, received the National Design Award of Latvia in 2024. Her work has since been presented internationally, including at Expo 2025 Osaka, Milan Design Week and Alcova during Miami Art Week, establishing her as an emerging voice in contemporary Latvian and Baltic collectible design.
