Sky-Set MINI Sculptural Glass Table Lamp by Dace Sūna

Sky-Set MINI is a sculptural table light in layered opalescent glass, stainless steel and LED by Latvian designer Dace Sūna. A table-scale version of the Sky-Set floor light, it captures the ever-changing hues of the sky, from cool blues to sunset reds, drawing inspiration from Rayleigh scattering, the optical phenomenon responsible for the sky's color. Its circular form recalls dendrochronology, echoing tree rings that trace the passage of time and environmental change. The shifting tones also evoke the atmospheric effects of wildfires, where particles in the air transform light into surreal shades of orange and red. The work reflects both the wonder of our atmosphere and the fragility of the ecosystems that sustain it, urging a reconnection with the natural world.
