Based between Singapore, Jakarta, London and Paris, Atelier Pendhapa is engaged in architecture and design projects across Europe and South-East Asia since 2019. Founded by Antonin Hautefort and Ignatio Tenggara, Pendhapa seeks a holistic approach to the practice of architecture with the ambition to dissolve the boundaries between site, furnitures and architecture. Antonin and Ignatio founded Atelier Pendhapa together in 2019. While Antonin grew up in France, Ignatio comes from Indonesia. It is partly their radically different cultural background, partly their fascination for local craftsmanship that motivated them to build a design studio together. A glass brick townhouse in Jakarta, a villa in the deep tropical jungle of Bali, a house in the arid desert of the Greek islands, or projects in London and Milan, the architecture of Atelier Pendhapa always aims to explore new territories while searching for timelessness. For each project, a new collection arises that brings together a confident visual lightness through their monolithic forms and materials. Pendhapa furniture collection is rooted in timeless, enigmatic forms.
