The Ondara Mirror is a sculptural wall mirror and functional art piece by Latvian designer Dace Sūna, handcrafted from reclaimed and recycled slumped glass. Each mirror is shaped through heat, allowing the glass to settle naturally into fluid, wave-like forms so that every piece is entirely unique.
Inspired by the movement of water and the graceful glide of manta rays, Ondara draws from Sūna’s diving experiences in the Pacific Ocean. A vacuum silver mirror coating gives the glass a reflective surface while preserving its translucent depth and iridescent character, allowing the piece to shift with light and perspective. Equal parts mirror, wall sculpture and collectible design object, Ondara brings an organic, atmospheric presence to an interior.
