The Westbury Cabinet V02 is a sculptural wood and brass cabinet designed by Seth Premo of Arvo Ray Studio and handmade in Brooklyn, New York. Shown here in figured English brown oak with an unlacquered polished brass interior, the cabinet pairs a restrained architectural form with rich material contrast. At 40 inches wide and 24 inches high it works as a low cabinet, a credenza or a generous bedside and side table.
The polished brass interior is intentionally left unlacquered, allowing the metal to develop a natural patina over time. Against the figured grain of the English brown oak, the bright metal creates the material tension that defines much of Arvo Ray Studio's furniture.
Founded by Seth Premo, Arvo Ray Studio produces minimalist furniture with a playful sensibility and an emphasis on robust, high quality fabrication. The Westbury Cabinet reflects that approach through its quiet silhouette, substantial construction and carefully detailed wood and metal finishes.
Originally shown in The Family Show 2025 at Love House, the Westbury series is available made to order in walnut, white oak, ebonized white oak, bleached white oak or cherry. Metal options include polished brass, satin brass, polished stainless steel and satin stainless steel. The series can also be customized with tailored drawer and storage configurations, and may be scaled in width, depth or height to create larger credenzas, sideboards or taller case pieces. Custom dimensions and finishes are available upon request.
