Vessel No. VI is a cubic stoneware vessel by Devin Wilde, handmade to order as part of his Series No. I collection. At about 9 inches on each side, it works on a shelf, console or side table.
Wilde trained in architecture at Stanford before returning to sculpture, and his vessels carry that background: geometric forms drawn from Postmodern, Classical and Art Deco references, shaped to play with light and shadow. Each piece is made by hand, so small variations in form and glaze are part of its character.
Available in eight glazes: Copper Patina, Iron, Aged Bronze, Ochre, Ivory, Pewter, Dark Chrome and Aged Brass. Custom sizing and custom glazes are available. Please contact us for customizations.
