Untitled #2 is a hand-woven 100% wool dhurrie by Daniele Daminelli for Malcusa, made to order as a 9’10” square.
The second of three in Daminelli's Untitled series, and like the others it is a flatweave — pure wool, no pile, no silk. That construction gives it a crisp, drawn quality the tufted designs in the collection cannot reach, and it wears differently underfoot: firmer, lower, better under furniture.
Daminelli runs Studio2046 out of Treviglio in Lombardy, a practice he founded in 2017 that moves between architecture, interiors and product design with an eye on nostalgia and on what comes next.
