Svalbard Coffee Table by Roche & Frères

$27,100.00

The Svalbard Coffee Table by Roche & Frères draws on Arctic landscapes and the shifting geometry of the ice floe, expressing water in its different states: snow, ice and liquid. The silver metallized oak top carries a fluid, reflective quality that resolves abruptly into a flat, linear surface, an evocation of the rapid changes felt in these remote polar regions.

The legs and integrated compartments, which allow objects to be tucked discreetly away, are made in black-stained oak. The dark tone grounds the piece, alludes to the ocean depths below and sets off the sculptural work of the silver top. From the Ice Memory collection.
