The Side Chair is an oak, plywood and steel chair by Studio HAOS, made to order in Portugal. The seat and back are cut from plywood and set into a slim steel frame, a construction that keeps the chair light enough to move with one hand while holding a firm, upright posture that works as well at a desk as at a dining table.
Available in natural oak or ebonized. It belongs to the studio's 2022 collection, a body of work built on ordinary materials pushed into quiet, precise forms. Studio HAOS presented the collection at Love House in New York.
