Palco is a made-to-order rug by 13.1 Studio for Malcusa, available in custom sizes and colorways.
Palco is a stage, or the box you watch one from — fitting for a collection built on the theatrical side of Milanese architecture. Novecento takes the balustrades, bands, gables and grillage that decorate the city's twentieth-century buildings and reinterprets them with irony and a deliberately delicate palette.
13.1 was founded in Milan in 2020 by Federico Sigali and Filippo Fiora. The studio works mostly on custom projects for private clients, and searches hard for materials — which is why every design here is offered made to measure rather than off a size chart.
