Milan Geometric is a hand-tufted viscose and linen area rug by Janice Joostema for Malcusa, made in Europe as a 6’7” square.
The most graphic of Joostema's three designs for the house, and the one that most openly nods to the city Malcusa works from. She came to design through modelling and fashion, and describes her aesthetic as neutral but warm — geometry here, but kept in muted tone rather than high contrast.
Made in Europe rather than India, so production runs about 30 days instead of six to eight weeks. Viscose and linen, hand-tufted, in custom sizes and colorways on request.
