Lines Stone Armchair is an upholstered armchair by Alter Ego Studio, made to order. A rounded, enveloping body is held between two shaped side elements in natural stone, a calm contrast of soft upholstery and solid, graphic material.
The stone sides frame the seat like a pair of bookends, and the veining of marble or onyx turns them into a decorative feature in their own right. It makes a striking single chair for a living room or entry, and a strong pair facing a sofa.
Side elements in marble, travertine, onyx or limestone; upholstery in COM, fabric or leather. A wood edition with sides handcrafted by Peter Pilnik is available as the Lines Wood Armchair.
