Futuro is a hand-tufted viscose and linen area rug by Vanessa Ordoñez for Malcusa, made to order at 6’7” x 9’10”.
Futuro completes Earth Revenge, the three-design collection Ordoñez made for the house with Sabbia and Dune. The title points forward where the other two look at the ground, but the language is the same: soft abstract line work, colour laid in flat fields rather than gradients.
Born in Colombia, raised in China and since resident across four continents, Ordoñez works in graphics, brand identity and illustration alongside her textile work, and the collection carries that graphic discipline.
Viscose and linen, hand-tufted over six to eight weeks. Custom sizes and colorways on request.
