Fiori is a New Zealand wool area rug by Giulio Brambilla for Malcusa, worked in the Karabagh knot and made to order in India at 6’7” x 9’10”.
Fiori and Cuore make up Romantic Rock, the one Brambilla collection for the house that is knotted rather than tufted. The Karabagh knot is a Caucasian weaving tradition, and it gives the rug a flatter, tighter face than the tufted Mid C designs — the drawing sits in the weave instead of on top of it.
Pure New Zealand wool throughout, no silk. Hand-knotted in India over six to eight weeks, in custom sizes and colorways on request.
