Dune is a hand-tufted viscose and linen area rug by Vanessa Ordoñez for Malcusa, made to order at 6’7” x 9’10”.
Dune sits at the centre of Earth Revenge, Ordoñez's collection for the house, with Sabbia and Futuro either side of it. The three share a vocabulary of drifting, wind-shaped line work — landscape reduced until only its movement is left.
A Colombian artist and designer raised in China, Ordoñez has lived across four continents, and her work pulls colour and form from all of it. She works today across graphics, brand identity and illustration as well as textile.
Viscose and linen, hand-tufted over six to eight weeks. Custom sizes and colorways on request.
