A playful yet refined pair of sculptural stools — equally at home as small side tables — the Chess Stool takes its silhouette directly from the formality and symbolism of chess pieces. Each piece is hand-turned in wood and finished in a high-gloss, piano-like lacquer that emphasises both craftsmanship and presence.
Designed to function individually or as a pair, the concave and convex forms bring a sense of movement and interaction to a room, blurring the line between object and utility. Sold individually. Available in a range of custom colours, so each piece can be tailored to its environment.
