Atrio is a made-to-order rug by 13.1 Studio for Malcusa, available in custom sizes and colorways.
Founded in Milan in 2020 by Federico Sigali and Filippo Fiora, 13.1 works mainly on one-off commissions for private clients, and the studio's hallmarks — symmetry, balance, an unusually careful eye for colour pairing — carry straight into their rugs.
Atrio belongs to Novecento, the collection they built for Malcusa out of the architectural detail of twentieth-century Milan: balustrades, bands, gables and grillage, reinterpreted with enough irony that the homage never tips into pastiche.
