Wooden Side Table by Project 213A

The Wooden Side Table is a sculptural side table by Project 213A, hand carved from a single solid piece of chestnut in Northern Portugal. The wood is force-dried to bring out its natural texture and colour, and the visible cracks are part of the design, showing the wood's character as it breathes and dries. Each table is unique in grain, tone and form.

Project 213A is a Portuguese art and design studio founded in 2020, working with skilled artisans in the north of the country to produce furniture that balances craft tradition with a playful, sculptural sensibility.
