The Tibur Sofa is a monumental sculptural sofa carved from solid Italian travertine by Studio Paolo Ferrari. Named for Tibur, the ancient Roman city now known as Tivoli where travertine has been quarried for centuries, the Tibur Collection celebrates the craft and tradition of stone carving and expresses the inherent longevity of architecture.
The sofa is made up of four carved sections and is sold as a full set or by the individual section. On its own, a single section becomes a sculptural stone bench for an entry, gallery, garden or poolside. Suited to indoor and outdoor use, and as a natural stone, each piece varies in veining and tone.
