Handcrafted using time-honored and traditional techniques, the Calakmul Plinths pair a solid walnut body with travertine. A museographic piece that works as a side table, decorative object, or sculptural and art base, paying homage to the remarkable sacred significance of everyday objects, often taken for granted, but possessing the power to connect us with the fundamental aspects of our existence.
It invites us to ponder the intricate tapestry of existence, where life and death are but two sides of the same coin, and where the everyday objects can hold the deepest meanings.
