Original 17th century etching by master artistRembrandt Harmenszoon van Rij printed in black ink on laid paper. Presented in a custom frame raised over fine linen behind museum glass signed in plate.
A superb early state of the artist's etchings which were done by hand using a needle on a copper plate. One of his rarer etchings, there are believed to be around 100 in existence most of which are housed in the permanent collections of major museums rarely exhibited to the public.
